Update with
sudo bee update util-linux-2.42.4-0.AI disclaimer: Drafted and assisted by claude-opus-5.5 (Claude Code).
The motivation is
unshare --map-auto(since 2.38), which maps the first block of the user’s subordinate IDs from/etc/subuidand/etc/subgid:findmntandlsblkwork with the new libraries.bits, blkpr, copyfilerange, coresched, enosys, exch, fadvise, getino, lsclocks, lsfd, pipesz, setpgidandwaitpid, as well as liblastlog2,lastlog2andpam_lastlog2.so(upstream default, as SQLite is found; nothing enables the PAM module). None of these files is owned by another installed package./lib/systemd/systemto/usr/lib/systemd/system, which is the same directory, as/liblinks to/usr/lib.uuidd, which never exists on MarIuX (nosystemd-sysusers), so everysystemd-tmpfiles --createwarnedFailed to resolve user 'uuidd', as seen when installing 2.42.4-0 on geniux. The daemon has never been able to run here (units disabled, 2.37.3 units already usedUser=uuidd). libuuid falls back to generating time-based UUIDs itself;uuidgen -tstill works.Release notes
